It's common for us as humans, in this day and age, to feel held back by society, our network (or lack thereof), the Universe. By everything in it. In fact, the Universe is all about opportunity, resources and life. We are the ones that hold ourselves back, or feel limited by our station or design. This is a survival instinct that outstays its welcome. It is a part of the balance that enables life - that dark and light. Heavy and weightless. Sweet and sour. Nothing is constant, as there needs to be that pulse of life. That wavelength with its frequency, highs and lows, its pulses or power.
Our task at hand is to invest value and weight in ourselves so that we aren't sent adrift so readily by the waves of the ocean, figuratively speaking. To grow our awareness, so we can see those opportune moments to gain something useful, even if it means giving ourselves a break or being OK to fail for the sake of learning and continuing this cycle of experience and growth. That worry about what someone else will think if we put ourselves out there, that pain we feel when we are put into a situation where last time it hurt us or took away from us, those moments when we feel stopped in our struggle and worry that we're missing out or wasting our time - those are conditioned moments, meant to help us survive in the short term but also can try to take too much control in our lives like a dictatorship or martial law. An extreme measure to control. We oft fail to see it is our choice holding us back, not the situation or the Universe. Our refusal to change a stance or a way of thinking it like refusing to turn sideways to slip through a narrow doorway, or put down the stick we're holding that stops us against the threshold. We try try try to push against it to not feel like we are giving up or losing, yet the irony of it all is that is our moment to let go, to surrender, to stop holding on tightly even beyond our muscles cramping into oblivion. To adapt maybe, or reassess, or even more importantly, ask for help.
We all have our unique struggles and our overlap. It's the beauty of the system. There's the very subjective and its ties in the objective, which is never 100% objective. So what do you feel held back by? What are you disappointed about - and why? Is it something you see as a design element you don't understand, want or relate to? Alternately, what is something about your experiment, journey, self-awareness that you are grateful for on a regular basis? What do you have that you've come to see isn't everywhere, but you enjoy its place in your life.
Semi-rhetorical questions, however I hope to open up a dialogue here to help expound the ideas, share the experiences and help give space and outlet for those built up feelings of frustration, stress, bitterness, anger or sorrow. Those moments when we are unable to channel and flow those energies that should be moments and not something consistently present.
